The room was clean and tidy. It's conveniently located near Haymarket. The front desk service was excellent. One downside: the basin was high and wide, which made washing clothes wet. Putting a towel over the basin helped. 😃 We stayed two days and it wasn't cleaned.

The hotel room rate includes breakfast, which is reasonable and has a sufficient selection, though it can be quite crowded during peak hours. The room and amenities are in good condition. The hotel is located slightly out of the central tourist area, but Princes Street is accessible by bus or a 30-minute walk.
My biggest complaint about the hotel, however, is the luggage storage fee. After my first day at the hotel, I embarked on a four-day tour of Scotland and would return to Edinburgh to stay at the hotel again. I left a suitcase at the hotel, but the hotel charged me a daily luggage storage fee. I've also checked luggage at Hampton by Hilton hotels in other cities and returned to the same hotel without being charged.

1. When I booked, the room was said to be 20 square meters, but it turned out to be smaller than an 18-square-meter room in London. It was incredibly small; I couldn't even fully unpack my suitcase.
2. The check-in and receptionist were Indian or Pakistani, and their attitude made me think any service provider in China deserves a 5-star rating.
3. We were three people with a child, but they only gave us two sets of towels each day. I called to request an extra set, which made me feel like I owed them money. Finally, they gave me a thousand-year-old, worn-out towel, which was disgusting.
